Directions The Day House is located in Norwood center, one block west of Washington Street (Route 1A). From Boston: Take 93 South from Boston. Exit onto 95 South towards Providence. Take Exit 11B (Neponset Street/Norwood). Follow the exit ramp onto Neponset Street. Follow Neponset Street for 1.25 miles to a rotary. Go halfway around the rotary to the Norwood Center/Nahatan Street exit. Follow Nahatan Street to the intersection of Nahatan Street and Washington. (You will go through four stoplights, and along your way you will pass by Shaws Supermarket, Sovereign Bank and Town Hall. After the stop light by the Sovereign Bank, get into the left-hand lane. Washington Street is at the fifth stoplight.) Turn left onto Washington Street. At the second stop light on Washington Street, turn right onto Vernon Street. At your first left turn onto Bullard Street. The F. Holland Day House Museum is on the Corner of Day and Bullard Streets at 93 Day Street. Turn left onto Day Street. You can park on either side of the road on Day Street. From Providence, RI and points south: Take 95 North towards Boston. Take Exit 11B (Neponset Street/Norwood) and follow directions above.
From Route 1: Take the Norwood-Canton exit (rotary overpass) to Norwood
Center (Nahatan Street) and follow directions above. | ||
